Details of The Pines Lodge at Gwydyr View Lodge Park, Trefriw, North Wales
The Pines is located in a gated park of twelve similar properties in the pretty village of Trefriw which boasts its own working woollen mill which welcomes visitors to take the free tour and browse in the shop.
The lodge is deceptively spacious and has a peaceful atmosphere, imagine sitting on the decking, perhaps with a glass of wine, surveying the majestic Gwydyr Mountain. The lodge can accommodate up to 6 persons. There is a large open plan comfortable lounge with an electric flame effect fire, Smart 32” TV and separate DVD. We have a supply of books and DVD’s for your entertainment. Wifi & 3G are available. The dining area overlooks the decking and has glorious mountain views, whilst the kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, gas oven and full height fridge/freezer. There is also an iron and board, a washing machine and separate dryer. The master bedroom has plenty of storage and has its own en-suite shower room. There are two further twin bedrooms also with wardrobes. There is also a family bathroom. We supply a travel cot and high chair for infants also. All bedding, towels etc. are supplied, except cot bedding; however please bring your own beach towels. Outside there is a large decking area and entertaining space for those balmy days with a beautiful outdoor dining set, large umbrella and a patio heater for those cooler evenings. Sorry we are unable to accommodate pets.
The village has several pubs, restaurants and brasseries all within a few minutes walking distance of the lodge. There is a Post Office/ General Store and a well supported Butchers/General Store in Trefriw also. The market town of LLanrwst is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the lodge and has numerous shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. For the curry lover, there is the Asha Balti Restaurant in LLanrwst which was voted Welsh Curry House of the Year 2014.The picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed is 10 minutes away by car and well worth a visit. The beautiful seaside towns of Conwy and Llandudno are only 20 minutes drive also.
The lodge is available for hire from the 1st March through to 12th January and prices range from £80 – £105 per night depending on the season.
